Amazon Becomes First Company to Hit $1 Trillion Annual Revenue
E-commerce and cloud giant crosses historic milestone, driven by AWS growth and expanding advertising business.
Amazon has become the first company in history to generate over $1 trillion in annual revenue, crossing the milestone in its latest fiscal year.
The achievement was driven by continued growth across all business segments, with AWS cloud services and advertising showing particularly strong momentum. E-commerce sales also exceeded expectations.
"This milestone reflects our focus on customer obsession and long-term thinking," said Amazon CEO Andy Jassy. "But we're just getting started on the AI opportunity."
Amazon's stock reached all-time highs on the announcement, with the company's market cap now exceeding $2.5 trillion.
